Scottish Golf Travel Awards

The Scottish golf tourism industry held its recent annual awards ceremony at the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa in St Andrews.
Organised by the Scottish Incoming Golf Tour Operators' Association, Golf Course of the Year was won by Turnberry Ailsa (see right) with Gleneagles Hotel winning the Resort Hotel category. Other Hotel of the Year awards went to The Marcliffe at Pitfodels in Aberdeen (Large Hotel), Culloden House Hotel (Country House) and St Andrews Golf Hotel (Small Hotel).
Awards were also made to St Andrews Executive Travel, PerryGolf, Martin Roy at Carnoustie Golf Links and the Kingsbarns Golf Links administration team.
